Oasis Poker is a variation of the traditional Caribbean Stud Poker. It shares elements with both Blackjack and Video Poker. In this game, players face off exclusively against the dealer, not each other. The objective is to form a stronger hand than the dealer.
Oasis Poker uses a standard 52-card deck. To begin a round, you first place an ante bet. Both you and the dealer receive five cards — your hand is fully visible, while the dealer shows only one card face up, with the rest face down.
One of the unique features of Oasis Poker is the ability to pay to exchange any number of your cards after the deal. After seeing your hand and the dealer’s visible card, you must choose whether to fold and forfeit your ante, place a bet to continue, or exchange one or more cards for a fee.
If you decide to proceed, the bet must be exactly twice the ante amount. If you want to change any cards, you must select them and press the DRAW button. Once your decision is made and the bet is placed, the dealer will reveal the rest of their cards. Both hands are then compared to determine the winner.
Once your initial hand has been dealt, you’re given the opportunity to replace any of your cards with new ones from the deck. This action comes at a cost, which is calculated based on your ante wager, as detailed below. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
You can choose to exchange one or more cards. The replacement cost depends on how many cards you switch: swapping two cards costs twice the ante, three cards costs triple the ante, four cards also costs double the ante, and exchanging all five cards will cost you one times the ante. If you decide to replace your entire hand, raising becomes mandatory — folding is not allowed. This action is processed automatically.
Cards to exchange | Exchange Fee |
---|---|
1 Card | Ante Bet |
2 Cards | 2 x Ante Bet |
3 Cards | 3 x Ante Bet |
4 Cards | 2 x Ante Bet |
5 Cards | 1 x Ante Bet + Raise |
To qualify in Oasis Poker, the dealer’s hand must include both an Ace and a King. Any player hand that includes at least a pair or better automatically qualifies.
If the dealer does not qualify, the player receives an even-money payout on the ante, and the additional bet is returned with no further winnings.
However, if the dealer qualifies with a combination of at least one Ace and one King, the hand with the highest value wins. If the player wins, they are paid 1:1 on the ante and receive a payout on their bet according to the game's paytable.
If neither the dealer nor the player has a qualifying combination, the winner is determined by the highest-ranking card.
Example:
The player wins, as a Queen beats a Jack.
When the dealer and the player receive poker hands of equal value (i.e. a push game), both the ante and the bet are returned to the player.
To place a bet, select a chip denomination from the bottom of the game screen. Once selected, click on the desired bet marker on the table to place a bet. Continue to click on the bet markers to increase your bet.
To increase or decrease the speed of the card dealing animations, use the small > >> >>> controls at the bottom of the game screen. This will change the speed of the dealing animations.
The minimum ante bet in Oasis Poker is a $1.00, and the maximum is set at $100.00. See Paytable tab for all pays.
