How To Play Oasis Poker

In Oasis Poker, you start by placing an ante bet to receive five cards, while the dealer gets five cards with one face-up. After reviewing your hand and the dealer’s open card, you can exchange one or more cards for a fee to improve your hand. Then, you must decide whether to bet (doubling the ante) to challenge the dealer or fold and lose your ante. If you place a bet, the dealer reveals their remaining cards, and both hands are compared. The strongest five-card hand wins, following standard poker rankings.

Changing Cards

After your initial hand is dealt, you have the option to exchange any cards of your choice for the next card(s) in the deck. There is a fee to do this, equal to the ante wager as outlined below. This fee is non-refundable.

You may switch one or more cards. In this case, the fee for switching two cards is two times the ante, three cards for three times the ante, four cards for two times the ante, and five cards for one times the ante. If you exchange all five of your cards, then you must raise, you are not permitted to fold. This is done automatically for you.

Dealer Must Qualify

In Oasis Poker, the dealer's hand must contain at least one Ace and King in order to qualify. All winning hands automatically qualify (One pair and up). If the dealer's hand does not qualify, you receive 1 to 1 on your ante only, and your bet is returned to you without winnings. If the dealer's hand does qualify with a value of at least one Ace + one King, the best hand wins. Your winning hand receives 1 to 1 on the ante plus the winnings on your bet, which are calculated according to the winnings table. In cases where the player or the dealer don’t have winning hands, the highest card wins.

For example:

Dealer’s Hand: A, K, J, 8, 3

Player’s Hand: A, K, Q, 3, 2

The player would win since the Queen is higher than the Jack.

Push

When the dealer and the player receive poker hands of equal value (i.e., a push game), both the ante and the bet are returned to the player.

Placing a Bet

To place a bet, select a chip denomination from the bottom of the game screen. Once selected, click on the desired bet marker on the table to place a bet. Continue to click on the bet markers to increase your bet.

Playing Tips

To increase or decrease the speed of the card dealing animations, use the small > >> >>> controls at the bottom of the game screen. This will change the speed of the dealing animations.

Betting Limits

The minimum ante bet in Oasis Poker is $1.00, and the maximum is set at $100.00. See the Paytable tab for all pays.
