Caribbean Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. To join a round, you must begin by placing an ante bet. You and the dealer are each dealt five cards — the dealer gets four face down and one face up. Unlike many poker variants, Caribbean Poker does not include additional card draws. Instead, both the player and the dealer form hands using only their initial five cards.
Once you've examined your own hand and the dealer’s visible card, you must decide whether to fold or continue. To challenge the dealer, you need to place a bet by pressing the BET button, which must always be twice the value of your ante. If you choose not to continue, you press FOLD and forfeit your ante.
When you're dealt a strong hand, you’ll typically place the bet and go up against the dealer. After the bet is made, the dealer reveals their remaining four cards, and both hands are then compared.
To qualify in Caribbean Poker, the dealer's hand must include both an Ace and a King. Any hand that ranks as a pair or higher qualifies automatically. If the dealer fails to qualify, you win even money (1:1) on your ante, and your main bet is returned without additional payout.
If the dealer does qualify with a hand that includes at least one Ace and one King, the stronger hand between player and dealer determines the winner. A winning player hand earns even money on the ante, plus a payout on the main bet according to the payout chart.
If neither the player nor the dealer holds a qualifying hand, the hand with the highest card wins the round.
Example:
In this scenario, the player wins because the Queen outranks the Jack.
If both the dealer and the player end up with poker hands of the same rank (a tie), the round is considered a push, and both the ante and bet are returned to the player.
In Caribbean Poker, the smallest ante you can place is $1.00, while the highest allowed bet is $100.00.
