Specific Rules

As mentioned in the introductory paragraph, the Let Em Ride video poker version is based on 5 Card Stud. This means that in every game, the player and the dealer will get a set of 5 cards each. Three of the player’s cards will be dealt face up, and the remaining two will remain face down.

Before every round begins, you can decide to make one or two bets. The first one is the compulsory ante bet that you have to place in order to play. The smallest bet that you can place is $5, and the biggest one is $250.

The goal of the game is to get the best possible hand comprising the cards of the highest value. In order to qualify, you will need to have a set of 10s or better. If you have a hand that doesn’t reach this level, then all your previous wagers will automatically be taken by the dealer.

How to Play Let Em Ride

So, you start the game by placing the compulsory ante bet, starting from $5 to $250. Then you’re dealt five cards, of which three are face-up. You now have the option to raise in the size of your ante, or fold. If you raise, you get another card, and you again have the option to raise or fold. If you decide to raise once again, the final card is revealed and the dealer reveals their cards. By comparing the strength of the two hands, you determine who the winner is.

As you can see, the Let Em Ride game is played not against other players but against the dealer. The way the strength of the cards is determined is a pair of tens or better, two pairs, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush, and, finally, royal flush.

Getting Paid with Let Em Ride

You win by having a better hand than that of the dealer – if you have a pair of 10s or better. What we’ve neglected to mention up until this moment is that you can get a random jackpot while playing this game – and this is one of the things that makes this game stand out. You can select the side-bet option on the screen and place an additional bet that will make you eligible to win the game’s local jackpot.

The best part about it is that the jackpot is not fixed – the more people play, the bigger it gets. The way to win the full jackpot is to place the optional side bet and get a royal flush. Admittedly, there is a low chance for this to happen – but the prize that you can get ranges in tens of thousands of dollars, so in the end, it will be well worth your while if you get lucky.

There are many progressive jackpot prizes, as well. If you get a straight flush, then you will get a 10% payout. A full house will get you a payout of $100, and if you get four of a kind, then the payout is $500. Remember, to get the full 100% progressive jackpot, you will need to get a royal flush.

Conclusion – An Outstanding Poker Variant\

The 5 card stud rules are excellently applied in Let Em Ride – with a new addition in the form of a progressive jackpot. You can play this game for fun – or make a deposit and play it for real. Regardless of which setting you will pick, you’re bound to have a lot of fun playing no matter who you are.

FAQ

  • Is this game available to play for free?

Of course – you can play Let Em Ride for free in various online casinos that feature a demo.
  • Is it possible to get a random jackpot win without the optional side bet?

Sadly, no. You will need to place the optional side bet if you enroll in the progressive jackpot bubble. You will need to determine if this bet is worth your while first before placing it. The worst thing that could happen is that you get a royal flush and a 1,000 to 1 payout – but you’ve forgotten to place the side bet before the beginning of the round.
